Zipper-nut squirrel

Squirrels can fall up to 100 feet without hurting themselves. They use their tail both for balance and as a parachute.

They fly, they eat, they leave

Some visitors at Red Alder Hill stay only for a few days then move on. A flock of grosbeaks rested in the red alders, while taking turns feeding on oiled sunflower seed.
